Last night, I was walking home. Then I saw a guy peeing in the middle of the street! I was shocked! What the hell wrong with the guy??? Then I realized, that was my friend Jered. I shouted to him, "HEY! JERED! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?? ARE YOU DRUNK???!!" "Yeah!!Nate..I'm Fucking Drunk! Hahaha" Jered replied me instantly without any shame.
Anyway, he came to me, and we started chatting. Most of things we talk about were difference between two countries--China and America. In the middle of chat, Jered became serious and asked, "hey, hey, Nate, I want to ask you a question." "What??" I became serious too. He thought for a while, then said, "Do all the Chinese girls like to walk together? Causez I find the Chinese girls here always walk together." "Man! if this was what he want to ask..why he was so serious??" I was thinking.. but I answered it anyway, "well, not all the girls like to walk together. but yes, most of them like. Actually, not only girls in China like to walk together, but also most of guys do as well. We call this buddy system. In China, I almost do everything with my best friends together. We eat together, play basketball together, play tricks on other together, almost anything.""Oh..."Jered nodded. "In fact," I continued, "I found American people are so independent that few of them have their buddy, is that true?" "yes, we most of time do our stuffs alone. We are fucking independent!" Jered answered, proudly...we also talked a lot other thing, but this one impressed me. Because not until then, I realized, I am becoming more and more independent since I came to America. In China, I can't stand the feeling of lonely. I always has somebody around me, either my friends or my family. But here, I almost do everything single thing alone. I admit that independence is a kind of good quality for life, but I consider it sad as well. Because it seems I'm losing passions to stay with people..
Next week, I'm going back to China for a couple weeks, I hope I will be still excited and full of passions when I see my friends again..
Anyway, after the chat, we also went to a party and I've learned a lot: Jered introduced a lot his friends to me even though I can't remember most of their names (it's kind of hard for me to remember American name); He also gave me a lesson about smoke and drugs. Fortunately, I never smoke, let along drugs. But I still learned it because at least I can recognize it when I see this stuffs.
All right~ this is a experience of mine, share to you! Hope you like it.
